The Tibetan Singing bowl is one of the most powerful healing instrument of sound and vibration. Its uses are multiple. It is called a singing bowl because the exotic sound hovers in the air long after it has been played. Very little is known of its history but it is generally recognized that it was created specifically to elicit tones for healing and ritual.
The bowls are made of seven metals. These include Gold, Silver, Nickle, Copper, Zinc, Iron and Antimony. Some sources say that the iron ores are from meteriorites, but the vavierty of that has yet to be proven.
